About Me
My Background
I am an abstract painter that lives in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I have called Winston home all of my life and attended Salem College where I majored in Studio Art. I have raised my two children here and as they have become more independent I have found myself back in the studio.
My Medium
I use many different mediums, such as charcoal, acrylics, and pastels. I enjoy trying new mediums and learning new methods to approach my art. It is more fun to to just "play" when I am creating. Never know what will come of it! My hands stay like this ALOT!
My Inspiration
I enjoy spending time with loved ones and the beach always seems to be calling my name. In a lot of my work there is the thought of water passages.
Another big inspiration for me is just plain, bold, unapologetic, in your face color! I love color and I am not afraid to use it!
