An abstract painter that has called Winston Salem, North Carolina home my whole life, I received my BA degree in Studio Art from Salem College. I have two children (Parker & Stephen) and two adorable labradoodles. (Hank & Henry)
Inspiration comes from the love of our NC beaches and marsh, water passages, the Golden Age of Hollywood, and botanicals to name a few.
No matter what the subject, first and foremost my paintings start with color. (and lots of it!) With my audacious color sense I tackle paper, cardboard and canvases!
My proclivity to continually evolve as an artist is an enjoyable process as I work through my thoughts with the different forms of media I use.
